I'm an AHPRA Registered Nurse, disability support professional and the founder of Support Meets Care.
My passion for nursing and disability support comes from both my personal journey and my professional experience. As a mum of two and a proud member of a blended family of five children, I understand the importance of compassion, patience and advocating for those who need support.
After contracting bacterial meningitis, I had to learn to walk and talk again. During that time, my mum became my biggest support, and I experienced firsthand how life-changing compassionate, person-centred care can be.
I have worked as a disability support worker for over five years, gaining valuable experience supporting children, adults and older people with a wide range of support needs. While completing my Bachelor of Nursing, I continued to expand my experience across mental health, behavioural support, palliative care, paediatric care, complex care and community nursing.
Today I combine my professional knowledge with lived experience to provide holistic, person-centred nursing and disability support that promotes dignity, independence and meaningful relationships.
